The benefit of doing nothing, is the realization that there is value in doing nothing. We are so used to constantly moving that we can forget that life, apart from any external variable, has value in its very existence.
THIS WEEK: Take ten minutes to do nothing. Don’t meditate. Don’t read a book. Just sit down, look out a window, and take note of what it feels like to be alive. Notice that somehow, almost by some sort of miracle, you are here.
