Pause for a moment and ask yourself the following three questions: Do I consider myself a grateful person, where in my life do I find it easy to be grateful, and where do I struggle to be grateful? In the areas of my life where I struggle to be grateful… how might those areas of life change if I brought more gratitude into them? This may seem like a silly exercise, and if you simply read through the questions without contemplating the answers, it is. But if you take the time to really engage these three questions you will absolutely arrive at some novel insights around what is currently holding back your sense of joy in life. Anytime you have an opportunity to increase joy, it’s worth the five minutes.
THIS WEEK: Spend some time answering the questions above. Consider writing down your answers in a journal.
