Life gives us a lot to be joyful about. Joy is not the same as happiness. Happiness is often tied to the things going on in our lives and because of that, it can go up and down like a rollercoaster. You may be happy, for example, when you get to have an enjoyable weekend outside, or sad when rain cancels your plans and reality doesn't meet your expectations. Joy on the other hand is steady like a calm, deep sea. Joy is the feeling we have inside that life is good, that we are good, and that more good is coming in the future.
THIS WEEK: Reflect on the following... Who is the most joyful person you know? What can you learn from them about increasing joy in your own life? How would your life be different if you developed the habit of joy?
