If you were to rate the speed of your life on a scale of 1-10, what would you rate yourself? Does this align with the speed upon which you’d like to live your life? We rationalize our speed, but speed is always a choice. Often we accelerate life under an illusion that if we could only do more, we’d be safe from harm. Speed, upon reflection, is actually about control. But it’s an illusion. Peace comes from realizing that we will never be able to do everything, but if we are intentional, we can focus on the most important things and build a meaningful life.
THIS WEEK: When life gets busy, what do you tend to sacrifice? Is it relationships? Health? Personal peace? What do you imagine might happen if you learn to slow down?
All the best,
