In today’s world, attention has become one of our most valuable (and most hijacked) resources. We often think of presence as simply “being here,” but true presence requires more than physical proximity—it requires the full gift of attention. When our minds are fragmented across notifications, worries, or to-do lists, we may be physically present but not truly present. To give attention is to affirm the worth of the moment, the task, or the person before us. Presence begins not with grand gestures, but with the simple act of choosing where we place our attention.
THIS WEEK: Pick one recurring moment in your daily routine—like eating a meal, greeting someone, or finishing work for the day—and give it your undivided attention. No multitasking, no distractions. Just attend fully. Notice how this small act shifts your experience of presence.
All the best,
