The Art of Becoming LIVE Join us for this one-time event!

I want to invite you to join me live—four sessions over four weeks. I've overhauled and upgraded one of our most popular programs and I am teaching it, starting April 22, in Basecamp.

Together we will expose the system underneath your stress, and the constant sense of falling behind. We’re going to name why your time doesn’t feel like yours. And why what matters most keeps getting pushed aside.

We'll explore what happens when your life shifts from life-consuming gears and grind, to life-giving peaceful being and purposeful doing.

I am hosting this LIVE series just once — and the cost is only $149. Recordings of the sessions will also be provided.

"I know what matters most, but I can't seem to make time for it."

Most people think they have a time-management problem. They think they need more discipline. More focus. A better planner. A tighter system.

But that’s not the real problem.

The real problem is that most of us have been handed a broken model for time.

The Art of Becoming is different

This is not about becoming more efficient. It’s about becoming more aligned with who you actually are. To live a life in integrity with your deepest desires, and deepest purpose.

It’s about reclaiming your time so you can name what matters most, and actually build your life around it.

Most people can tell you what matters to them, but very few can explain why it keeps getting crowded out.

This live series will help you see that clearly, and show you the way through.

You get one chance to live all the way.

Steven Lawson will lead you through the essential philosophy and practice of aligning what you do with who you are becoming. Four live sessions + access to recordings. Four weeks. One central question:

What would your life look like if it actually felt like yours?

This is the only time Steven will host this live series!

** All sessions will be recorded if you are unable to attend live **

Testimonials from the Original Being + Doing Course

This was by far one of the best courses I have taken. It really filled a need that I had and has reshaped how I look at things.

Being & Doing Course Participant

Thanks for helping to take me beyond my to-do list and help me connect to a fuller living.

Being & Doing Course Participant

Time management courses are abundant — I have taken several. Retreat and spirituality experiences are abundant — I have been on several. This course blended the two in such a way that I feel the higher purposes of both can be achieved. I do believe I can be a better professional and a holier person if I follow this way.

I found the first 4 sessions asked big enough questions that I’m still mulling them over weeks later.

FAQs

What results can I expect?

Within community we will learn how to:

  • regain traction in your days
  • stop feeling so reactive
  • build a better weekly rhythm
  • create space for what matters
  • move from scattered to steady
  • stop living by urgency alone

The formation drives greater alignment between your internal values and daily choices and actions.

Who is this for?

The Art of Becoming live series is for anyone who feels like their life looks full on the outside but doesn’t fully feel like theirs on the inside.

It’s especially helpful if:

  • You’re tired of productivity systems that don’t lead to meaning
  • You feel pulled in too many directions
  • You want to live with more intention, but don’t know where to start
  • You’re asking deeper questions about purpose, identity, and direction

If you’re looking for a better way to be, not just a better way to do, this is for you.

Who is this not for?

This is not a tactical productivity course or a step-by-step system for getting more done.

If you’re looking for hacks, tools, or optimization strategies for your planner, this probably won’t meet your expectations.

Also, if you’re already part of The Path, you’re already doing this deeper work—this experience is designed as the starting point.

What makes this different from other courses?

Most courses focus on improving what you do. This one focuses on who you are becoming and the life you will build as a result.

Rather than adding more to your life, this series helps you:

  • Re-examine how you see your time
  • Clarify what actually matters
  • Build rhythms that support a meaningful life
  • Align your actions with a deeper sense of purpose

It helps you see what's preventing you from building the life you want.

Why is this being offered live?

Being live means:

  • You’re learning in real time, not passively consuming
  • You’re part of a cohort
  • There’s a shared sense of intention and presence
  • The experience becomes more relational, not just informational

It’s designed to feel less like content—and more like formation.

What will each session be like?

Each session is a guided exploration of a core idea, led live by Monk Manual Founder Steven Lawson.

You can expect:

  • Teaching that blends philosophy and practice
  • Space to think more deeply about your own life
  • Clear frameworks you can carry forward
  • A sense of progression across the four weeks

This isn’t overwhelming or dense—it’s designed to stay with you long after the sessions end.

Will the sessions be recorded if I can't attend live?

Yes. All sessions will be recorded and available afterward. And you will have access to the content for the life of the program.

That said, attending live is strongly encouraged—the experience is designed to be more meaningful in real time.

What platform is this hosted on?

The series will take place on Skool, the same platform used for our Basecamp community.

You’ll have access to:

  • The live sessions in the Classroom
  • Recordings will be posted afterward
  • The Basecamp community space during and after the experience
