I had a really hard time getting the pen to write with the ink that was provided; perhaps it's just that I'm left-handed. A trick that took me more than a while to figure out was to remove the silver cylinder inside the pen when you're going to use a different pen ink, like G2, otherwise, it won't fit.

For what I paid for the pen, I have been disappointed for sure. I have never paid that much for a pen, but the clicking function is sticking already after just about 2 weeks and the ink can be spotty sometimes. Unfortunately, I have bought smoother pens at Walmart. Love my planner, but the pen was much less than expected.

The pen is a bit too heavy and the ink skips. It seems you have to hold the pen just so to avoid skipping.

After reading a review about the pen skipping I was delighted at how smoothly mine wrote -- for about 2 days. Since then it has been skipping so much that it was unusable. Because I like the feel of the pen overall, I will go shopping for a refill from another company. Any tips about getting the original cartridge working before it goes in the trash are welcome.

Nice pen, well balanced, has a small rattle internally due to the pen cartridge having a little wiggle room. Came with a .7 black ink and I purchased the .5 in blue and found it much better to write with based on my personal preferences. I only wish the tactile interface in the holding zone had more texture because it is a smooth slick finish. I will buy more of these in the future, although not perfect, it is very nice and I enjoy using it.

This is a really nice pen. The weight is perfect and I like the look of the rose gold - almost more of a copper tone. Smudging seems very infrequent, perhaps not at all.
My two concerns are the clicking mechanism seems a little weak. It can sometimes feel a little flimsy, for lack of a better word when clicking. Not a deal breaker, but given how nice everything else is about the pen, I thought that was a little bit of a drawback.
The other aspect might just be the current/factory ink refill - I will sometimes need to take a stroke or two to get it to start writing. Perhaps I will buy another insert to remedy this problem.
All in all, I really do like the pen. But the reasons above are why I give it 4 starts rather than 5 stars.

I LOVE this pen!! I got it a couple of months ago with my next set of planners and I couldn't be happier. It writes beautifully, doesn't smear, and doesn't bleed through the pages. It is my "go to" pen at my home office and I'm thinking of purchasing another one for my purse.
