For many people the next two weeks are the busiest of the year. As a result of all the frenetic activity, there is a temptation to depart the present moment and miss out on our life as it occurs in real time. This week there is no reflection to share, just encouragement. Try to stay present over these next two weeks. Keep coming back to the present moment. When you notice yourself worrying, moving towards the future or the past, keep coming back. Enjoy life as it is in the here and now. Make enjoyment of the present your primary practice over the next two weeks, and see how this impacts your experience. If you can carry this experience into 2024, you’ll be setting yourself up for a very very special year.
