The benefit of doing nothing, is the realization that there is value in doing nothing. When we are used to constantly moving, we can forget that life, apart from any external variable, has value in its very existence. To make it a bit more personal - your life, has value in it’s very existence. When you start from that place, and you can feel it in the depths of your being, everything changes for you.
THIS WEEK: Take ten minutes to do nothing. Don’t meditate. Don’t read a book. Just sit down, look out a window, and take note of what it feels like to be alive. Notice that somehow, almost by some sort of miracle, you are here.
