As you were growing up you probably heard the old adage that you are the sum of the people you spend the most time with. This phenomenon isn’t reserved only for children and teenagers, it’s a truism that plays into your life even now. We are permeable beings who are constantly seeking the right way to live, and we crowd-source the answer to this question through the people who surround us. Some people draw us up to a higher version of ourselves, and some people anchor us down, settling into lower levels of potential, peace, joy, and generosity. Aware of this reality, an effective way to steward your growth is to simply be intentional about the people you surround yourself with.
THIS WEEK: Who are the people in your life that help you become the best version of yourself? Who are the people who anchor you to a lower state? How can you minimize the negative effects of the latter, and cultivate the positive effects of the former?
All the best,
