When Things Fall Apart

There is a key type of preparation that often separates the successful from the unsuccessful. And that is preparing for what you will do when things don’t go as planned. Regardless of the goals you have for 2024, one thing is certain… things are not going to go as planned. Issues will come up. You will fail. As Miles Davis once said, “It’s not the note you play that’s the wrong note – it’s the note you play afterward that makes it right or wrong.” If you want to arrive at meaningful change in 2024, you will serve yourself well by preparing for the time when you fall short, and things don’t go according to plan.

THIS WEEK: Take a habit or goal you're working towards in 2024. Spend some time considering in advance how you will get back on track when you fall of course.

All the best,
