I really like the planner and the tools you provide to get us started on goal setting and living on purpose. I have finally caught the vision of how to plan long term and stay on track in the short term. One thing I would like to change is more space for the inserts at the back. It doesn't close properly with the calender and goals in the pocket in the back.

I love how it makes me think. Even if I still need to do the worksheets to get started!

I've been using bullet journals for the last several years, and as my spiritual pursuits deepened, I found that the key element of reflection in that method was lacking. I had found one journal that did touch on this aspect and I really liked it a lot, but it is no longer being produced. Monk Manual takes that to-do list function of bullet journaling and dials up the reflection piece in a huge way. It does so AND offers a really high-quality product - thick paper, sturdy binding, and sleek, simple minimalist appearance.

Great notebook. Keeps me on track with the things I want to do every day, but always forget (gratitude, reflection.)
Notebook is of high quality and great leather. Very nice piece. A little pricy for a disposable notebook (I guess you could archive them,) wish there was an option for a loose bound leather.
Recommend you buy the kit with the companion journals and the Grafton pen - both are lovely.

The Monk Manual is a bit clunky to use. The way the month, week and day sections are separated makes it difficult to use. The page separators really don’t help.

Love the quality of the books and pen. Like that it’s not too big so it can go into my laptop bag no problem. Especially love they materials that explain the approach and how to use the materials effectively. That really helps and the process of learning helps to keep me focused as well. Great stuff - Thanks

I have not yet begun to use it. There was a shipping mishap, inwhere I received a razor instead. The day I had planned to sit and begin using it, came and went. Maybe I will consider making time to use it soon?

I like the size and the quality of the paper

Most productive version of myself yet!

Beautiful quality. Love it!

two weeks in but loving it! less stressed, more joy in every day, and bigger goals align with weekly and daily taks. love the look forward to box--there is something to look forward to every day! and reflection celebrates the wins and not so good parts of the day.

I have been keeping a daily book for a number of years. I like everything about this manual it’s appearance, it’s size I think if I were to suggest one thing. Is a pocket like an envelope without a flap, on the inside of the back cover. A bit heavy duty for scraps of paper business cards, a news clipping, maybe a photo. But otherwise I am a Fan. And look forward everyday to being with my manual.

Outstanding process.

enjoy the way I stop think & plan my life past the daily rush

It’s a bit complex- and too scripted.
Suzan S.
I love using it. My spouse wants one now.

I'm loving the manual so far. I find it creates more "white space" in mind, compared to others planners that seemed to compound things in my head.

The monk manual itself is lovely and I am excited to continue using it. I did have to scrounge up a different utensil, as the pen included in the starter set barely functions. 5 stars for manual itself. Minus one for my mistake buying the whole started set.
Michelle M.
The Monk Manual starter set has beautiful materials and good online support for getting started. I intend to use mine in the new year, so my fingers are crossed it will avoid the dead planner like. Shipping was a little slower than expected, and I would prefer the pen to have a finer point.

Monk Manual has brought back structure into my days, helps me to focus on the positives in my life, and reflect on my personal growth daily. I’m so glad to have given MM a chance and plan to purchase a second volume when my current journal is finished.
Michael M.
I appreciate the organization of monthly planning, weekly planning and daily planning, as compared to simply organizing the planner based on a 31 day calendar format. That was good insight and allowed me to simply jump in to the daily planning, get used to the format, become acquainted with the weekly planning model and then the monthly, and then tackle those when I was ready.
I am used to a contemplative personal growth approach such as this, so I greatly value the Monk Manual. The only thing I would "add" is a pen holder!
Thanks much!

The purchase was a breeze through the website.
Took a little longer than expected for it to arrive.
The good: great customer service, very responsive. Quality of the journal, mini journals and the pen is outstanding!
The bad ( was solved ): shipping issues, missing products in the initial order. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and it’s definitely worth spending the extra money for the bundle.

Perfect combination of planner and journal
Has helped me become more aware of what I want my life to look like
Has enriched my prayers and relationship with God

great layout but i thought it was more of a meditation/ spiritual sort of monk. the captial G god ruined it for me. i will not be using this manual. sorry. waste of my money.

I’m a month into using my Monk Manual daily and I can honestly say this has been a game-changer for me. The key is cultivating a habit of reflection along with setting goals and priorities. Goals, priorities and to-do lists are useless unless you take the time to reflect on them.
The Monk Manual provides a system that helps me move from human “doing” to human “being”.
Greg G.
I appreciate the layout and flow of the Monk Manual. I appreciate that it allows me to focus on my big three, craft my calendar and evaluate the highs and lows of each day. I am still working to get comfortable with items like a monthly theme, but I can see their value. This is one of the better planners I have found for organizing and reflecting.
Jay J.
I have tried a lot of planners (the latest was Micheal Hyatt’s 3-month planner) so I was skeptical about MM but hopeful. It has surpassed my expectations by a wide margin. The “doing + being” is a difference-maker. I am a fan and have already talked to friends and family about joining me. Thanks for creating this.

Love the system, and love the focus! As someone who spent a lifetime in the business world, and now I've transitioned into a lead pastor role, the Monk Manual has helped the focus in that transition tremendously!! And I love the way you support, encourage and train your community of users!

I’ve used my Monk Manual for less than 30 days and I have already noticed huge changes in my life. My mindset is more positive, my goals are more achievable, and even my insecurities and fears are more clear, which helps me push through the difficult days. I so look forward to where God will lead me through this tool!
Ann A.
I love how I track more than just appointments and to~do lists!!! It’s how I begin and end my day and I’m so pleased to be using it. In just a few days it has become an indispensable part of my life. And it’s beautiful!!!
Teresa T.
I really like the manual. I use the daily pages. The monthly and weekly pages seem a little overkill. I get doing the summary but it is a lot of time spent on filling in calendar etc. for the month, for the week and then there individual days.
Angele A.
The Monk Manual has been a fantastic resource for me. It offers a great point of "self-check-in". It helps me to set time to think ahead and reflect back each day. Very grateful for my Monk manual! This is a great tool to grow in reflection, intentionality, and care for yourself and others.

simple, quality

I'm just starting to use my Monk Manual, but I'm finding thev focus of month, week, and day helpful to realize where I am and where I hope to go. It seems like a great tool to help you live with purpose and direction.
Jill J.
The monthly...weekly...daily check-in is nice rhythm and provide a layer of accountability.
Gordon G.
Insightfully utilitarian, the Monk Manual is a simple solution for complicated people. And as with everything else in life, one gets out what one puts in. Skip the overpriced pen;it rattles when writing, and the push down engagement for the cartridge makes a loud scraping sound when deployed. The box includes an extra spring, evidently not a buy once pen.
Christine C.
I keep coming back to the Monk Manual, because it gives me an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming day, lean into my gratitude, and gives me space to reflect at the end of the day. Getting the entire Starter Set seemed like a great next step, and it has not disappointed!
John J.
Been using it for about two weeks, every day. The Book was my first monthly "habit". It helps. Thanks for making this.
Sholom S.
Thanks still waiting for order hopefully soon
Suzanne S.
I really love the new habit of my Monk Manual every evening and morning.
Jen C.
I look forward to completing my monk manual each day. It keeps me focused on the positive things in my life, increases my gratitude, and sense of confidence, and helped me think about what I look forward to in a time when I feel like I have little to feel hopeful for.

Not yet received. Still waiting patiently for it.

I love the gift set. I bought it for me for Christmas. Of course this is the 4th MM so I knew what to expect. I am still playing around with the little notebooks but I do feel they are important. The stickers went on my guitar case and I love the pen and will probably buy another one as well. Very satisfied with my Christms gift to myself:-)
