I've used this for about two weeks. I will admit that it's VERY helpful. I've been able to keep up with it like I haven't other agenda books. Usually I feel the need for paper/pencil... I spend between $20-40 on one and I fail to get into the groove enough to continue using it. The thing I live about it is that it's only good for a very short time. The beauty of it is that it actually has end points with reflection built-in. I feel mighty successful so far. Thanks for creating something that fits diverse people whose brains don't always fit the norm.
Plus, the focus on the positive is truly habit-forming. I catch myself sometimes thinking about what "really sucked" and then there's no place to put a giant list of suck things. It's perfect because in my eyes there are 7 places for positive reflection and one meh place ... and zero straight negative spots.

I pretty much love everything about my Monk Manual. It has helped me move beyond just planning, so that I am intentionally reflecting on my day. The quality of the manual itself it excellent. My only wish is that it had a pen loop!

I have bought three -- I love the system. But my last one, a ribbon came detached. And the one before the pocket unglued.

The monk manual is one of the best purchases I have made in my life. It's transformed the way I approach every minute of my days to be more intentional. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The Monk Manual continues to help keep me focused on what matters most. I don't fill in all the categories and have changed some to fit my needs, but it's easy to adapt to what I need. Thank you for your excellent product and customer service.

I love my monk manual. I’ve been using it for a year and a half now and it’s been great. I appreciate the balance of planning and reflecting. And I appreciate being able to structure my goals for different seasons. I’ve needed to contact the Monk Manual team a few times, and they have always provided great customer service. This is a planning and organizing system that’s really worked for me and my life.

My Monk Manual is great. Now I just need the discipline to keep up with it!

I love this product! BUT I did have an issue with my most recent journal in my subscription. This one came shrink wrapped and had a nice cardstock wrapped around the journal itself, but I'm afraid that those two things caused the journal to bow slightly so that it actually can't lay flat when I'm writing on it, so it pops up and down slightly as I'm writing on it. If the shrink-wrap and the cardstock made it bow, it would be worth moving away from those things. It wasn't due to shipping because it was nicely packed in the box as usual. Just a thought for the future! Please feel free to remove this review because I *do* love this planner. It's just that this one came bowed, unfortunately.

The more I use the manual, the more freedom I'm discovering to make this practice my own. In my experience, that's key for longevity. I appreciate your work!

I wish the daily pages started with what I am Grateful for and what I'm looking forward to. Starting the day with top priorities puts me in "Do-mode" instead of "Be-mode". I will likely transition to another planner system which starts with reflection vs doing. It is stressful to jump right into what I need to do. The gratitude reflection builds energy for what I need to do in the day.

It is really helping me find more balance with being and doing.
It is giving me a structure for scheduling and a one stop place for journaling and gratefulness practices. I am glad I have started using it. I look forward to continued growth with it.

I love the focus on being rather than doing. I feel as though I am living my life intentionally with a purpose rather than setting arbitrary goals and completing arbitrary tasks. And because of this I am happier than I have been in a long time. Thank you!

Not only is it a planner but also a journal to help me think about my day, my week, and month more holistically.

This is the tool I was looking for to help transition into retirement and to be intentional about my time and attention. It is a great companion to help focus on my spiritual disciplines and balanced use of time each day. I have been referring many friends to it as a result of my experience. I am on my fourth planner since starting in February.

I have been using my Monk Manual for 9 months now. I am retired but keep busy. My situation isn't typical of someone who usually needs a planner. Before using it, I felt like the days just zoomed by and I didn't accomplish anything. Now I have focus in my days and I actually get things done. The time I spend in my Monk Manual are some of the best parts of my day. I look forward to every morning and evening when I plan out and recap my day. I love that it incorporates the whole person. It doesn't only focus on To Do Lists. It incorporates gratitude, generosity, faith, daily highs and lows, and so much more. Monk Manual changed my life. Maybe it will change yours as well.

The focus on the whole person: BEing as well as DOing

The Monk Manual keeps my scattered self organized, connected, and helps me prioritize intentionally living out my values in actionable ways while finding gratitude in the present moment.
